your privacy.
NorthTech (Pty) Ltd (2026/743684/07) is the responsible party for the personal information you send through this site, under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
what we collect, and why
the brief form asks for your name, email, organisation (optional), what you need, how you heard about us (optional) and the brief itself. with it goes where your enquiry came from on this site: the page you arrived on, the page before the form, the site that linked you here and a link’s campaign tags, if any. we use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to prepare a proposal. giving it is voluntary; without a name, an email and a brief we can’t reply.
if you tick the separate box, we may also email you about new work. it is never ticked for you, and you can say stop at any time.
your IP address is used for a moment to stop the form being flooded (five briefs per ten minutes); it isn’t stored with your brief.
who handles it
your brief is emailed to the studio through Google (Gmail) and kept in the studio’s own lead sheet (Google Sheets); the site runs on Vercel. they may process it outside South Africa, under their own data-protection terms. we don’t sell or share it with anyone else.
how long we keep it
if nothing comes of a brief, we delete it after 24 months. if we work together, it becomes part of the project’s records.
on your device
no cookies, analytics or trackers. the site remembers your sound choice in your browser’s local storage, and whether this device can show the 3d room for the current visit; neither leaves your device. for the current visit it also notes where your enquiry would come from (above); that leaves your device only if you send a brief, with it.
your rights
you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it’s used. write to our information officer, Caleb Mokoka, at caleb@northtech.africa. if you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
notice version 2026-10-07-draft: a draft, waiting for the owner’s review. back to the brief.
